At the event, our founder, Mr. Faik Baharoğlu, presented BARFAS’s AI studies within the technopark and introduced our new product, “BAI: Artificial Intelligence and IoT Automation Application Development Platform,” to industry stakeholders for the first time.

What is BAI?

BAI is a specialized tracking application that combines artificial intelligence and IoT technologies. It provides real-time location, status, and performance data for teams, vehicles, or assets working in the field. It was developed entirely in Türkiye by BARFAS engineers.

In our presentation at the event, we explained the application’s architecture, the IoT sensor structure it uses, and how the artificial intelligence layer processes data from the field. We received very concrete positive feedback from participating companies; integration questions came especially from teams working in logistics and field management.

About the Event

YILDIZ TECH Meetings is a platform created by YTÜ Yıldız Technopark to connect technopark companies. Previously focusing on health technologies, this series was structured around artificial intelligence companies. Technopark General Manager Assoc. Dr. According to data shared by Muhammet Garip, there are currently 172 artificial intelligence (AI) companies operating within Yıldız Technopark, and these companies have a total of 323 active R&D projects.

The most valuable aspect of the event for us was the one-on-one meetings that followed the presentations. We have begun evaluating potential joint projects with several companies we spoke with there.
